According to the spokesperson at the center, the current pre-sale period for train tickets is 15 days. With the introduction of the Ticket Demand Pre-filling feature, passengers can now pre-fill information such as passenger details, train number, and seat preference on the day tickets go on sale. This allows passengers to submit orders and complete payments with a single click as soon as tickets become available, streamlining the ticket purchase process. In addition, the 12306 platform has also introduced the Train Ticket Sale Reminder Subscription feature. Passengers can set multiple reminders in advance based on the ticket sale starting time, ensuring timely submission of ticket purchase orders. The sale start times for each train can be checked through the Railway 12306 platform.
The spokesperson highlighted that with the introduction of these two new features, the 12306 platform aims to further improve the ticket-buying experience, maintain a fair and just ticket-purchasing environment, and invite passengers to take advantage of these enhancements. The railway authority is committed to listening to feedback and suggestions from passengers, continuously optimizing and improving the functionality of the Railway 12306 system, and striving to provide higher quality and more efficient ticket-purchasing service.
